Virgin Mary and Goddess
of Mercy
The Virgin
Mary and the Goddess of Mercy have lived both in different countries and at
different times but both have amazing striking similarities.
The Virgin
Mary is the mother of Jesus and is also known as the Mother of God and many
other names but the one I like is Mother Mary. There are many visitations in
different countries and different times but finally in Malaysia. In a news
report by Sunday STAR, 11 November 2012
it was stated that “Catholics flock before apparition of Jesus’ mother on
window” and in an article that when the person touched the glass, thinking it
could be paint or something else. There was nothing.
Some believe
that the Virgin Mary have a message after all she was called the protector of
the poor and downtrodden.

An Image of Goddess of
Mercy (Guan Yin)
This is a
real life account of a friend’s story which took place when he was very young.
In fact he was only 9 years old when Soo Kit experienced the particular occurrence.
He was playing catch with his younger sister in the upstairs floor near his
parents’ bedroom. When he suddenly a person flashed across his parents’ bedroom
and thinking it was his sister, he happily rushed to the bedroom. Before he got
to the bedroom, he saw a bright shimmering image covering from the floor to
almost the top of the ceiling. As the shadowy image became clearer, Sook Kit
was surprised that it was the face of the Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy)! It was
the same or similar image of Guan Yin from their altar downstairs. Suddenly the
image disappeared.
An eager Sook
Kit happily rushed down to kitchen to inform his mother. However, all he
received was a trashing from his mother – for making up stories…ouch!
I have
always wondered whether the Virgin Mary and the Goddess of Mercy is the same
entity.
Any comments will be much appreciate…even the
nasty ones ha! ha!
Hi Christopher. I have an inclination that yes they are the same spiritual entity embodied/depicted in different forms as a way of reaching out and connecting with very different societies/cultures, baring the same message for humanity. What do you think? :)
ReplyDeleteHi Little Light, it remarkable but I think you are right!
ReplyDeletehi again Little Light, sorry I have to run off as I had some chores to do. Anyway, the similarities between the Virgin Mary & Guan Yin is truly amazing - I really its the same lady!
ReplyDeleteYes, I think so too! When Guan Yin entered my life I was painting as a hobby and was somehow inspired to paint Mother Mary, even though I am not religious, and so I looked up some up the similarities between them. They both have many aspects that seem to hold the same concepts :)
ReplyDeletetq for your comments
ReplyDeleteWhether it's the virgin mary or kuan yin, It's the same demon. The queen of heaven mentioned in the Bible, Jeremiah 7:18.
ReplyDeleteWhoever dies consecrated, praying to or believing in this goddess will go to hell.
Jesus is the only hope of salvation. Abandon these false Gods.
Hi Anonymous, the Bible was a collection of assorted writings in collusion with the Roman Emperor for political purpose. Believers of this so-called holy book have shed more blood than in both World Wars combined. I believe this book was inspired by the Devil, Satan.
