Another Scary Incident at Amber Court, Genting Highlands

Another Scary Incident at Amber Court, Genting Highlands

Tales of scary incidents abound and Amber Court and Ria Apartment in Genting Highlands has become famous (or infamous) for being haunted.

Overall View of Amber Court condominium

Amber Court is a pair of condominum towers hidden away from Genting Resort and is accessible only by a narrow road that starts from the Mushroom Farm.
“Gosh, Amber Court is so pathetic now. It's so sad, we used to have a unit there, but had to sell it as it was making big losses with no visitors.” From a customer.

Richard and Cindy Boey booked a apartment in Amber Court in Genting Highlands several years ago. Cindy was a promoter working in Genting Highlands, whereas was a car mechanic working in Kuala Lumpur. Robert is happy to see his wife but he was ecstatic about the opportunity and chance to make “huge money’ at the casino (like most Chinese, gambling is a must thing to do).
Richard and Cindy had a good breakfast and Cindy went to work as a promoter and Robert had the whole day at the casino (Great!-yeah) Cindy got back at 6pm but found an empty apartment and assumed that Richard was still in the casino – earning big money or have lost his shirt! She had to take a quick shower and place her dress on the bed. When she was done with her shower and picking up her dress when she noticed several long strands of hair on her bed. The cleaning lady must have been sloppy or Richard had a long to answer for. As she running late she quickly dressed herself when she notice a red “cheongsum” (a formal Chinese dress)   under a clothes hanger on a closet. Getting a bit annoyed, she decided get to the bottom of this with Richard after work.

When Richard went back to the apartment, he decided to take a shower while waiting for Cindy to finish work. After his shower he opened the shower when he noticed the very cold air from the bedroom. Then when he got there, he noticed a woman on their bed facing backwards in their bedroom and she had a red cheongsum on. Clad only in a towel he stammered, “who are you…what do you want” but did not get a response. Richard really did not know whether the woman is a human or was it a ghost. When he looked into the mirror directly facing the woman….gasp! eeeckk! there is no reflection of the woman in the mirror. Scared stiff, he ran for his life buck naked….his towel fell when he fled!

  11. The very next time I read a blog, I hope that it does not fail me just as much as this one. I mean, Yes, it was my choice to read through, but I genuinely thought you would have something useful to talk about. All I hear is a bunch of complaining about something that you could fix if you were not too busy seeking attention.Sbobet

  22. I am totally agreed with you because I experience it 1st hand with my siblings and cousin. we went there in the mid 2007. There were so many signs, yet we just dismissed them by thinking that all of it were co-incident. Thinking of it, it felt like we went into the twilight zone. Started with the two time changes of unit. The unfriendly staff, whom said nothing much. An abandon restaurant, as if during the party..everyone fleed from scene and even plates, glasses were there...The unpleasant sight at the basement car park. To sum up, the friendly shopkeeper whom suddenly became quiet when he was asked about the court. I was unwell the next morning because of the 'sight' I saw in the middle of the night which forced all of us to sleep in the same night..while my sister did the prayers..we just checked out, even tho we booked it for two nights. The best part, after few years..Then, we knew the place is so called haunted...even when I was writing this down, I have the uneasy feelings...

  24. It's probably genting's plan to make it such so everyone runs and they and buyback to develop, everyone knows there's hardly enough rooms there.

  26. In a past 7 years back i stayed in this hotel.. it was a bad experience i ever had.. one night with my girlfriend made us lifetime unerase memory.. when we were sleeping we shock to heard knocking sound from nowhere.. i need to act calm while my girlfriend was halfway to pass out to scare.. i tried to search whre to sound came from until i decided to go outside my room and follow the sound from.. unluckly it sound as clear as crystal from nearby room.. annnddddd what makes me horror the room was nailed with wooden stick cross the entrance.. it was not a joke because when i come near to that door it suddenly goes silent.. later i return to my room to go to sleep.. its a bout hour later the sound of people knocking more louder.. my girlfriend and i hugging as tight as we can until next morning until we fall asleep even we are fritghting.. once we woke up from our bed we found out there are blood on the middle of our bed.. i did ask my girlfriend whether she is having her period but she is denying.. on a rush time we check out without had a bath plus it was very cold in genting.. this 7 year passed will never makes me forgotten what do i saw n heard overnight at amber tower..

  28. I had reached amber court recently because I wonder how its look like as so many story about it. At the end of the amber court had a new apartment was built. My first look at amber court, its totally different with the picture which uploaded by the real property agent. My gods, totally out, maybe management wrong doing or maybe other causes. Look liked long time without people stayed in. From my observation just got few foreigners workers stays in. But I feel very relaxing outside of this apartment. Cool and very silent. I hope some day I will stay in this apartment see how its will go and tell the story about it to all

  30. Ghosts exist in imagination only. Some of the earlier postings are very poor amateurish attempts at fiction writing with unbelievably poor English to boot. It is sinful that a good piece of property have deteriorated to its present state. I hope some developer or investor will buy up the whole unit and spruce up the buildings. It can be operated as a budget hotel. With the new theme park to be opened progressively and other investments by Genting the expected influx of visitors from all over will stretch Genting's capacity to provide reasonably priced accommodation. This is where Amber Court can come in as a cheap alternative.
