Haunted Hotel

I have heard that the MINT Hotel could be a haunted hotel.  Here is the tale ..

The MINT Hotel is a 7-storey building and is a budget hotel in Kuala Lumpur. It does not have the luxuries and comfort of some of the 5-star hotels but it is understandable.

This incident was told to me my Thomas Kee and it occurred a couple of years ago. Thomas Kee is from Raub in Pahang and were down for a relative’s wedding celebration . They booked 3 rooms for their stay with a room for his parents, and room for his uncle and aunty and finally a room for Thomas and his cousins.

 During the first night, Thomas’s uncle was fast asleep and probably snoring away peacefully when his aunty was woken up from the blast of cold wind that starting blowing inside their bedroom. The curtains from the bedroom were gently swaying. Then the table started to move up and down by itself.

Thomas’s aunty was used to these things (she was an ex-teacher from the old days) and besides she was from a rural village from Pahang. Believe it or not, she merely wrapped the blanket and fell asleep. She was woken again, when she felt her legs were pulled from under her and notice a flash of a black apparition in their room.

She was furious and angrily shouted at the “apparition” saying, “Enough, leave ever body alone…and leave me alone”. She started chanting and praying and within minutes there was no sound or disturbances. (Aunty must have frightened the “apparition” away!)

She casually mentioned the next day about the disturbances and said that it is all over-a tough lady - got the chills about my spine and goose bumps just taking about it.
