Daniel was in the office late in the evening when he heard someone running up the common stairway up to the upper floor thinking the landlord has finally a tenant.

Daniel Chong rented an old office space in one of the neighborhood in Kajang in Selangor. He has only 3 staff and he usually spent the day with clients, meetings and basically look for new business. When he gets back to the office he answers any question from his staff, take calls and do his paper work.

One day after coming from a meeting, he heard the footsteps as if someone was walking up the stairways to the upper floor. He looked surprised at Rosli (one of his employee) who just shrugged and smiled saying someone must have rented the upper floor.

Daniel’s office was on the first floor and the second floor (the upper unit) and the top most unit were located above Daniel’s office. The ground floor which was a Tyre shop and it had a separate opening.  It was a 3 storey (including the ground floor) shop lots and they the two units were padlocked through a grilled on the ground floor.

Over the following weeks they heard people talking, whispering and steps on the stairways leading to the 2^nd  floor. Once after work at night, Daniel who was alone was busy locking the front door when he saw a girl and a boy dashing and running on the stairway to their upper unit. However it was so fast that he did not get to say the chance to say “hi” to them.

A guy recounts the spooky events working in an old office bungalow in late 1990s.

Gregory Liew, an old friend of mine, used to work under a public listed company in the 1990s. His office at a large bungalow lot in Lorong Yap Kwan Seng right in the city as an operations manager. The old office bungalow consist of an old building located in a fairly large land which is mostly for internal office car parks. The main bungalow has basically remained the same but internal partitions and use for office have changed. It was originally use as a residential private (by Mat Sallehs - Europeans) bungalow. Looking at the structure, a person could not help think of the past and the people who lived there.

They were a lot of talk among the girls (and some guys) about the building being haunted but Gregory did not much attention to it and took it as foolish and childish tales.

One day he was having an angry and heated meeting with his staff in the ground floor when he found that he could not speak. After checking with a private specialist, nothing was found wrong but he could not speak for two weeks! Taking the time now to ponder and wonder, maybe there was something eerie about the old office bungalow.

A Rukun Tetangga member’s work hard to keep the local community and neighbourhood safe but also encounters with the supernatural and the afterlife.

Encik Mohktar has been part of the Rukun Tetangga (Neighbourhood Watch) voluntary program by the Government for over 30 years. He has retired now, where he was previously working in a Post Office and he lives in a flat with his wife and two daughters.

He says that the voluntary work has been mostly dull and tedious but he personally caught thieves and burglars which makes it worthwhile. He also faced numerous dogs of many sizes and types while patrolling the neighbourhood.

He however has seen many situations that cannot be normal when his ‘bulu roma naik’ (goosebumps) and he will normal say his prayers. He has recounted some of the encounters that he has experience.

When he and his friend were at their patrol during the late nights, he saw under the moonlight something whitish (like wearing a cloak) flying in the night sky. The apparition was flying in a zig-zag fashion before losing the sight of the apparition under the trees!
