Another Incident in Genting’s Parking Lot

“Go to Genting…sumore of at night…Go lah…” Adrian Soon’s mother was absolutely furious when she heard of Adrian’s intention of going to gamble at Genting.

Adrian is from Bera in the state of Pahang and his friends, Tony & Jim, was determined and planned to spend the night at the casino no matter what. They were more or less hardcore gambling addicts (..”kaki judi”) and were going to win big from the casino.

However after spending 5 hours at the casino, they left gloomy and dejected having lost all their money. As they walking to the parking lot in the middle of the night, the mist and fog were swirling from the surrounding area when Jim noticed a blurry dark person going into their car!

His friends have already got in the car and Jim did not have any choice but got into the front passenger seat. Sensing something was wrong Jim then said, “Can we talk a little bit before going back?”

Tony was glum but he agreed but Adrian was very angry and said angrily to Jim, “shaddap lah what to f##king talk…#!?...don’t play play lah” Jim tried to calm him down saying, “Can talk or not…” Finally Adrian managed to cool down and the three of them had a short casual talk.

Paranormal Incident at Universiti Sains Malaysia

Three girls faced a paranormal incident during a night out at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in Penang.

Kavitha, Rosie and Vickki are students at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) at the main campus in the state of Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. USM was established in 1969 and located at the former Minden Barracks of the British Far East Command.

They were attending a rehearsal at night for a play (I cannot remember maybe it was Shakespeare) on campus. After the rehearsal, the three of them was walking back from the campus and it was quiet dark night with the lamp which was spaced far apart posts providing the lights on the campus. Kavitha and Vickki was walking with Rosie lagging behind. The two girls turned back and asked Rosie to walk faster. When they turned back impatiently when they notice that Rosie was walking behind them and she was looking strangely at something behind her.

Kavitha and Vickki then shouted at Rosie to keep up with them as Rosie seemed to be falling behind them. Rosie suddenly shouted in a terrified voice at the two girls, “Run…just run!” Both of the girls together with Rosie just took off thinking it must be snatch thieves or even a rapist. 

Then must have ran over a half kilometer before they reached the guard house. They were panting heavily and completely out of breath and when they have recovered sufficiently they asked her what was about.

“You meant you didn’t see them?” said a still panting Rosie to her two friends. Rosie then told them that she saw an older gentleman who was on the parked wooden bench smoking a pipe and he seemed to be lost in thoughts. Then suddenly he walked away on the same foot path they were on.

A young’s man dilemma about his ability to “see” the supernatural but was could not prevent his close friend’s death.

Some people have been gifted with the ability to see and hear “things” – like ghosts, the afterlife, spirits, demons etc. in their everyday lives. The Chinese called it “Ying Yan” eyes and other people will named as simply the 3^rd Eye. It is like a 6^th sense where one can see or hear the supernatural. These people seemed to be born with such abilities with visions of dead people – like a father, mother and their children at an open hawker stall going about their ‘normal’ activity but sometimes there are harmful or malicious spirits are seen and must be avoided at all circumstances.

Anyway this is a recollection from my friend, Juan Sim who has with the ability to see such things from very young. Some of his childhood friends will kept quiet when Juan Sim seen preoccupied looking at things that nobody can see or hear.

After graduating Juan Sim was working in his hometown in Johor Baru. He had met a girl that was madly in love with but he had sensed a spirit with bad intention was following her. He begged her many times to let him drive her around and that he was willing to go anywhere. She just took it as a joke besides she laughingly said he has to work.

Soon after that, she had a bad accident when she was driving her mother to her weekly open market. Her mother was seriously hurt but Juan Sim’s friend was killed!

“3^rd Eye” Phenomena

“3^rd eye” is the belief that some people have the ability or the foresight (or the curse) to see the supernatural or ghostly figures or images in everyday’s life. This phenomenal is quite common in certain religions like Taoism, Hinduism etc.

Jackie Lee since young was born with the ability of the 3^rd eye. When she was 13 years old she was walking after school when she was near the high-flats she heard a loud shattering thud in the pavement. Terrified she looked about her where she saw a woman had felt onto the ground floor and was sprawled facedown and her whole face was covered with blood. Startled she looked desperately at the other people about her but everybody was busy as if nothing happened. When Jackie relooked about her, she saw nothing, no sprawling woman. .. no body.

With a deep breath she starting walking away from the high-flats when she heard another ear-splitting thud and she realized that it was the same woman falling to her death again. It was repetition of the image of her death, over and over again. Jackie quickly said some prayers and hurriedly walked away.

On another occasion, when she was 15 years old, she was invited to her friend’s birthday at the condominium home. It was a BBQ at the swimming pool and most of her friends were there. She saw an older man beside the swimming pool who was not only smiling but waved happily at her. Thinking it was one her friend’s uncle, she did not think about it further. However, feeling a bit awkward Jackie quickly waved back at the older gentleman. She noticed that several of her friends were looking at her strangely.

Some of her question her that night and she told them it was only at the older gentleman, but they absolutely saw nothing. In fact, her friend said it sounded like an older neighbor but he died a few weeks ago!

Fortunately Jackie lost her ability about the 3^rd eye when she turned older.

Tapah is a small town in the state of Perak in Malaysia. This town is considered as the main entry point into the old Cameron Highlands route, which is a winding and narrow road uphill. It has a population of only 30,000 people.

Linus Chen’s girlfriend, Ginny is from Tapah, actually it is her grandparents home. Although Linus and Ginny stay and work in Penang, and they occasionally visit Ginny’s grandparent at their home in Tapah, Perak.
