Eerie Car Tales

Eerie Car Tales

Eerie and harrowing tales about ghostly apparitions or sights that one might encounter unexpectedly particularly in their cars! I have 3 other chilling true-life tales for you.

 An Old Proton Car

Jacob was driving back late after work at old Sungai Buloh back road when he saw a colleague in his old white Proton. Jacob saw there was a woman beside his colleague, Wan, who was busy driving. It was getting dark but he saw that the woman had full length hair and she was sitting on the front seat facing Wan.

When Jacob met with Wan the next day, he chided his friend asking who was the lady in his car yesterday. Wan look somewhat puzzled and said, “Where got lady….alone lah!”

Although Wan vigorously denied that was with a women, Jacob was at the same time sure that he saw a woman with Wan in the old Proton car! Was it a ghost?

The next story occurred at Chukai (also known as Kemaman Town) in state of Terengganu. Kadir was travelling from that town one night when he was alarmed that a terrible loud sound…phlatt… came crashing on his car. Shook up he quickly pull his car, a Naza Ria, onto the side of the coastal road and sat around to look at the surrounding but there were no cars on that lonely road.

He quickly looked at the surrounding again as there was nothing except the wind was blowing hard in the night air. Too terrified to actually go down the car at night instead he drove back to his home.

When he reached his home, he got down from his Naza Ria and with a plastic stool together with a torchlight he got up to look down at his car. The top of the roof at the front of the car were absolutely fine but the….the back of the front portion was badly dented with a depression of approximately 17cm oval in size!

A Ghostly Incident at Maxwell Hill

A Ghostly Incident at Maxwell Hill

The night was dark except for the moon with the cool jungle breeze the swirling fog was everywhere, when the two went to their car. They saw a piece of white cloth in a tree….

This incident happened when Ricky managed to pester and beg his parents to allow him to spend a couple of days at Maxwell Hill. At last his finally parents relented and gave in to Ricky and together with his 4 friends from school managed to drive to the hillside resort at Maxwell Hill or as commonly called Bukit Larut about 9 – 10 kilometers from Taipng.

Maxwell Hill commonly known as Bukit Larut taipingheavenland.blogspot.com

Ricky and his friends managed to rent an old single storey bungalow at the foothill of Maxwell Hill as no private vehicles are allowed in the hill.

After dinner, as there were no internet and even a tv, they suggested playing cards which was unfortunately left in the car. Ricky volunteered to go and get them and Min followed as he had to smoke.
Outside it was absolutely dark except for the moonlight and the swirling mist from the jungle air, when the duo carrying torchlights and were walking to the car. “Apa tu? (translate “whats that?”) as Min tugged at Ricky’s arm with his torchlight shining on a clump of overgrown trees.

It was pitch black but Ricky can barely make out that it was a white cloth and was happily sitting on a branch on top of a tree. Before Ricky could answer that white thing suddenly started to laugh…a continuous gaggling laughter. Stunned, shocked and confused they could only looked at that thing and the laughter (it sounded like a female’s voice) .

Motorcyclist, Girlfriend & “Ponti”

Motorcyclist, Girlfriend & “Ponti”

A motorcyclist and his girlfriend were riding after a date before meeting with a Pontianak!
Dereck Chui went to a cinema in town with his girlfriend, Linda, before adjourning to their favourite hawker stalls in Temiang Jaya, Seremban. After their meal, Linda wanted to bring porridge for supper to her father, mother, sisters and brothers (not cheap to pay for everybody’s food but it is expected - hee hee!).

At a Hawker Stall – porridge

Dereck and Linda packed the front carriage and fastened the bags of porridge in his motorbike, a Honda Cub. After that, he together with Linda, riding at the off his motorcycle, rode off. As the night was dark and a bit chilly, Linda had wrapped herself in a sweater for the journey.

Linda house was located at a slightly elevated locations and Dereck found his motorcycle slowing down drastically. He was wondering why was that, either the motorcycle was underpowered, or maybe the bags of porridge was too heavy or maybe Linda suddenly put on weight (ha! ha!  joking-lah about reason 3). He casually glanced at his rear mirror and …bulu sudah naik…he saw a woman sitting beside Linda! The woman was dressed in white blouse and had long thick fuzzy hair and she was smiling at him…and it seemed that Linda was unaware of the strange woman sitting beside her! Oh God! He was absolutely scared to death.

Pontianak in Malacca
Sometime ago it was reported that a Pontianak (female vampire) was seen at Jalan Pulau Gadong in the state of Malacca.
A video clip, made via a mobile phone, was downloaded from the bridge at Jalan Pulau Gadong of the incident. This incident shows a woman a woman with long hair in a white dress, floating in mid-air and whimpering or crying. Many people were at the bridge to witness the still strange and scary phenomenal.

Azmin decided to take his younger brother back to his dormitory in Skudai after his holiday. Besides Azmin have a couple of clients to meet in Johor Baru and then back to Melaka.
As he was driving, his brother busy yapping talking about everything, and Azmin noticed that it was getting dark as it was about 7pm. He was already in the largest forest portion on the to Skudai and after that he will drive to Johor Baru.

He looked at the rear window of his Honda CRV and through the gloom of the night, it looks like a bat-like figure at the back of his car. The bat-like was getting nearer to his car although he was pressing the accelerator and driving much faster. His brother was still preoccupied with his stories and was unaware of the situation.
He constantly peered in the rear view of his car when he was shocked shitless.  The bat-like figure was flying and now it was directly behind his back windscreen. He could barely out the features, it resembled an old woman, and her long hair was plastered about her head from the wind. He nearly peed in his pants.
He drove as fast as possible to the campus and he finally looked at the back of his car and make sure that bat-like was not following his car. The car park was lit out and other people were around.  Tired and relief, he helped his brother with his luggage.
He went with his brother for a drink and told his brother about the “Pontianak” that he saw. Anyway, he slept at his brother’s room and only left the next day (at a different route!).
