The historic
Majestic Hotel is set on Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin opposite of the old railway
(KTM) station at the heart of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Nestled closed by is
the famous and renowned Golden Triangle and is just about 10 minutes by car.

The original
hotel was built in 1932 and during their heyday was filled with glamorous events,
government receptions and was the residences of many prominent British
colonials. However the building was abandoned and closed down in 1984 before it
was renovated by YTL Corporation Berhad as a Luxury Classic Hotel.
Old Majestic Hotel
Gone are the
bygone days when the hotel was used by the Japanese military during 1939 until
1945 war as a transit camp. In fact, the old railway (KTM) station, with the
rail lines moving to the south, Singapore, there are people who remembered that
strange and unknown people were walking at nights in that place! During the
World War 2 the Japanese army brutally executed many people at that place.
